The aim of the teaching environment is make learning tourism related vocabulary more interesting and fun. Game introduces different travel related situations and a team of students need to figure out which presented situation was the best way to handle to situation. Players are also tasked to place the 3 other options in order.
Teaching content for the game was created by KAMK english teachers, who also wrote the script for every single situation presented in the game. One of the language teachers also acted as the voice actor for the game providing all the conversations used in the game. The feedback on the teaching content and student reactions was also studied by the teachers.
The game is meant to play between two teams of students. Game presents them different travel situations, and they are tasked to rate which was the best, second best and so on. The game then gives teams points based on the correct order. The team with most points at the end wins and receives the ultimate title of champion of Goofy Game Guide.
Game was build with animations, which where produced in a form of videos. The system was build so that the questions presented in the game would be a certain type of video file named specific way in a certain folder. This way the game show platform would be usable with whatever videos would be copied in the folder.
